The first ever AHB post was a detail of this painting, part of the Marie de’ Medici cycle (1621-30). I just saw it in person at the Louvre. I died. And then I was reincarnated into another art history lovin’ lady. And now I’m here, telling you about it. Rubens’ nudes. Can’t get enough of those butts.
